Spent a beautiful evening photographing Mount Rainier overlooking the Tacoma Narrows Bridge during sunset. Traffic was flowing so I took advantage by slowing the shutter.
Caught a beautiful September sunset on Gig Harbor in Washington. Mount Rainier was out and could be clearly seen in the cold air. Fortunately there was enough cloud cover to catch the pink hues just before we lost the light. A perfect Pacific Northwest fall evening!
From the ferry landing at the Point Defiance Park/Vashon Island route in Tacoma you can look over the marina and see Mount Rainier in all its glory if the sky is clear enough.
Finally! A trip to Mount Rainier with clear enough weather to see the mountain! The reflection was the cherry on top.
